We thoroughly enjoyed the incredible mountain biking trails along the river - the scenery was stunning and the access from the campground made it so easy to get out and ride every day. Being so close to town was also a huge plus; it made quick grocery runs simple and convenient, which is always a bonus when traveling with kids. Our children had a fantastic time exploring the nearby playgrounds and cooling off at the spray parks. The close proximity to the community swimming pool was another highlight - it gave us a fun way to wind down after our outdoor adventures. The campground itself was peaceful, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We left Golden with wonderful memories and a strong desire to return.
