About Gabe Shop

Gabe Shop is a very organized store with a helpful, cheery staff. It offers a variety of items including excellent used clothing, decor, dishes, fabric, books, and other unique treasures. It has an ice cream cart out front in summer. Proceeds support good causes and essential community programs on Gabriola Island. It is located up the hill from the ferry.

Not what we were expecting, very small and quite pricey for outdated items. We took a short stroll through, and left empty handed.

5 stars because it was very organized, the staff was cheery, and offer other services essential to the community.

A wonderful find of treasures and a helpful, delightful staff. There's a variety of items including dishes, fabric, books, clean used clothing among other unique items. Definitely worth a visit and just up the hill from the ferry! Have an ice cream from the ice cream cart in the summer months too. Proceeds support a wide variety of programs and health initiatives on Gabriola Island.

I make a Point of going to the store every time I go to Gabriel Island. I always find wonderful surprises at reasonable prices. The store has a great selection of clothing, shoes, and housewares. I found this lovely broach for a few dollars just the other day.
