I was 4:30pm at Sunday, Google says couple wine tastings around and should be open until 5. Willcox Commercial Co was only one open place in whole street! Anyway I really appreciate they accurate on business hours. I tried wine tasting with Lindsy from Cooper House. She is amazing and wines are good as well. Tasting cost like 2$ by 5 (or whatever you like). Sorry guys I have only one photo about wine ? was really busy chatting during my visit ? I wish more travelers stop in Willcox and support local businesses here a really nice small town with amazing people and wines!

As we were wandering down the main street of Willcox we happened upon a small local museum full of interesting local heritage and Indian artifacts. The history of Geronimo is given with family pictures. Before we left the museum we struck up a conversation with Bill Harper, who told us is story in the form of poetry. He is an amazing treasure and the highlight of our visit to Willcox.

Note: This is NOT a dry cleaning store. It's a clothing department store. Sitting on the corner of historic Railroad Ave. is the oldest continuously operating store in Arizona: The Willcox Commercial. You walk in and feel like you've been transported back to an earlier time. Lots of space to walk around, high ceilings, tons of western clothing and shoes. The friendly staff will help you in your shopping and answer questions about Willcox and this store's history. It's a delightful store. Right across the street is the burial site of Koko, Rex Allen's famous horse. Rex Allen's ashes are scattered over Koko's grave. You can also visit... read full review
