This contractor demonstrates the most unprofessional and unethical conduct. He does not give you either verbal or written change orders as per the contract. He will add many, many charges and expect you to pay. You won't know it until you receive the invoice. He does not supervise subcontractors, and they basically can do any work quality that they see fit. I had to argue with him for 8 months over an HVAC problem and a faulty roof. I finally had to go to the Registrar of Contractors. They determined his work was substandard and unacceptable to construction standards. Be Aware! Be Careful. Also, make sure EVERYTHING is in writing with this individual as he does not always speak the truth.
