Having cancer is not something anyone is prepared for. When I went to see Dr. DiComo, I knew that he had to tell me something that no one wants to hear. He was kind, showed compassion, and made me see there are options available. He has an incredible bedside manner as well. Dr. DiComo is the kind of doctor that anyone wishes for but also hopes to never meet under the circumstances around cancer. If anyone needs to find an oncologist, I truly hope you are blessed to find and work with Dr. DiComo.

After having to have a PICC line put in (for 6 weeks of antibotics) at HonorHealth Hospital on Osborne when I was admitted for an infection next to my incision on my leg (broken femur had to have a rod, plate and screws put in a few weeks earlier), I was having issues with some shoulder pain in the same arm. An ultra sound was performed and they found some small blood clots in my arm. Dr. Low explained everything to me. When I was released from the hospital an had to go for my first office visit, I wasn't kept waiting, he was very thorough and left time for questions. Ironwood Cancer Center gave me hope when my cancer was diagnosed. Meeting Dr. Rifkind has been one of the most positive experiences of my life. Having lived through cancer treatment with my husband, I had few positive thoughts about the process. Dr. Rifkind has helped me to focus my energies on living, not dying. He's knowledgeable, thoughtful, and perceptive and has provided encouragement and honesty throughout my treatment. He is truly one-of-a-kind.
