I worked with Althea because H & R Block made egregious errors in my Federal and State 2024 tax returns. When I approached H & R about these errors it was represented that I was not correct regardless what was represented to me by the IRS and Vanguard. The errors were so bad that the tax liability was 73% too high. Why wouldn’t H&R Block not want to help a retired individual prepare tax returns correctly?
Althea was polite, professional and knowledgeable and made the adjustments in an amendment and attached the proper forms. It was a relief a pleasure working with her. I would not hesitate to hire Althea who I now have made my permanent tax preparer. You...read full review
