Stephen D. Phillips, OD, operates a small, friendly office that is highly recommended by patients. He is described as a great, one-of-a-kind optometrist who is extremely attentive and never in a rush. He is thorough, loves a mystery, and leaves no stone unturned, spending significant time to figure out issues. The office support staff share his sincere sweetness and intellectual curiosity, asking many questions. They are not about speeding people through but are very helpful. The practice is noted for being very effective, more so than any other many have experienced, and is priced better than other area options. Patients feel valued and are very happy, with many using his services for years. It is advised to schedule several weeks in advance.
Unexpectedly I got what I thought was a tiny piece of glass in my eye. After flushing it repeatedly and being in constant pain, I realized I needed an eye doctor to examine and remove any foreign item from the eye. I started calling around town and spoke to four eye doctors' offices. None of them were very sympathetic, helpful or were willing to fit me in. Then I called Dr. Phillip's office and immediately the staff was so considerate and worked me in immediately. I drove straight there and they got me right in. What are great place, I had to have my glasses repaired as one of the nose pieces broke off and we were on our way to the gem and mineral show in Tucson. They quickly repaired my glasses at no charge, I give the service and the employees five stars 🤩
