Update to my last one star review. After posting my review I was contacted by clinic management and rescheduled for an appointment on 12/14/23 after previously being told I would have to reschedule in February. I greatly appreciated them following up. Thankfully I was able to see Dr. Hooper and his staff which are very professional and thorough. I also made a special request for prescription glasses with a close (6 inch) focus point for hobbies that I engage in. They were very accommodating. As one who dreads having things done to the eyes, I found both Ashley and Dr Boyer were reassuring and put me at ease about the procedures I'm having done.One thing they should warn people about is their location. They are in a building clearly marked with a different address than what is listed as their address. Good luck trying to find 75 Colonia De Salud! I had to call twice to get directions as I drove around looking for a sign or an address that the office had given me. The first person told me to look for a blue dome, which did not help at all, because you cannot see it when you're close to the building. I had flashes in one eye, I know this can be serious so I called for an appointment as a new patient, they got me in in about an hour, checked and found the problem that was not serious at this time.I would give 5 stars BUT I know that had it not been a potential emergency it would have taken one and a half to two months to get an appointment. Waits like that are ridiculous for any doctor, it tells me they need more doctors and should work on finding them.
