“I had the most unexpected loving and joyful experience today meeting Dr. Marsh and having my wisdom tooth extracted. Dr. Marsh is an incredibly compassionate, gentle, understanding, patient and amazingly skilled dental surgeon. Initially, I walked into his office today feeling extremely petrified! I suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder from having had an earlier awful experience with a dentist 25 years ago and as a result, I've not seen a dentist since! I avoided them at all cost.Unfortunately, about a year ago while eating, the top half of my wisdom tooth cracked off at the gum line and occasionally I would experience discomfort and pain. Nevertheless I never had any intention of going to a dentist and thought I could just "tough it out and live with it". But a few months ago, a friend really encouraged me to see a dentist. She shared with me that she had to have extensive and costly dental work done because she hadn't seen a dentist herself for some time after her tooth partially cracked off. So at that time I built up the courage to finally see a dentist myself but it turned out to be a nightmare experience! It only reinforced my PTSD! It reinforced my decision again of not ever going to see a dentist. And I meant it until my lymph nodes felt swollen around the the jaw line where the cracked tooth was. I knew immediately that meant the tooth had gotten infected and it scared me which affected adversely my sleep. It took a few weeks to build up the courage again to bring myself to look for another dentist.I did a google search for a dentist in the Sedona area and stumbled onto "My Family Dentist" where I read so many wonderful reviews about Dr. Marsh and his staff. Notwithstanding I was still nervous and distrustful of seeing another dentist, but I felt I had no choice and had to be seen in order for the infection to be treated timely. I reluctantly called Dr. Marsh's clinic and the staff member that answered the phone was very helpful and knowledgeable. He shared with me his positive experience of having had similar dental work done by Dr. Marsh. I still wasn't convinced, but knew I had to make an appointment. I'm so happy I did! Dr. Marsh has had many experiences of working with individuals like myself. I was impressed by his gentle and genuinely caring demeanor. He took the time to listen to my fears and knew exactly how to calm me down. He took his time before and during the procedure to explain step by step the procedure he was conducting. He even instructed me to raise my left arm if I wanted him to stop for a moment for any reason. I so appreciated his care and concern. And one of the most positive experiences with Dr. Marsh was that I DIDN'T EXPERIENCE ANY PAIN OR DISCOMFORT! Dr. Marsh extracted and pulled the infected tooth out and it's incredible that I didn't feel any discomfort! The moment when I heard him tell me the tooth had been extracted and he had cleaned abscess and surrounding skin, I couldn't believe it! I didn't think I heard him correctly. I said to him, that is it?! He calmly replied and said, "that's it, the tooth is out". I was so relieved and could feel happy tears flowing down my cheeks.I'm so grateful to Dr. Marsh and his wonderful assistant Selina for making my experience positive and happy. I now know who to readily seek out when I need any future dental work done! I highly recommend "My Family Dentist" for any dental needs. You will receive exemplary care by a genuinely compassionate and qualified dentist and the clinic's staff.“

My dentist, Dr. Babcock replaced a filling and I can honestly say it was the best experience I’ve ever had at any dental office. He and Wendi provided excellent care coupled with compassion and humor. The whole process went very smoothly (and was pain free ?)! On a previous visit, Dr. Babcock provided a very thorough dental exam and Chimene, the dental hygienist, gave me the most thorough cleaning I’ve ever received.
