This was a breathe of fresh air. My first real haircut since last year. The wife said go get a buzz cut. Classic style place, very clean, nice leather benches, friendly proprietor ... the wall hangings are either hockey or NFL, not my thing but no matter. I'm there for a haircut. During the process I said, 'it can be a little shorter on top', he says 'you need a little style, if you're wife says shorter you come back tomorrow and I make it shorter'. She loved it. And now I have a regular barbershop.

I'm pretty sure the current owner's name isn't Steve. His command of English isn't fluent, but he still gets the job done, and he's a nice guy. I always get a quality cut here, and highly recommend this shop.

Tune up=line up + straight shave, I can't believe I waited this long to experience such a process. Just like you have seen in those mob movies, Steve takes you through multiple hot towels and different creams to prep you. After the prepping, he and his razor are like a painter and his brush, different angles and varying pressure to give you the closest and cleanest shave possible. After the shave, he applies another lotion, a cold towel, and massages your face. To top it off, they give you a short shoulder massage at the end. Cost: $12+tip, WELL WORTH IT!
