This spot was lovely. My husband had been putting in tons of overtime and just got home from a business trip so I wanted to pamper him a little. I searched carefully online for a spa day for the two of us. We were not disappointed! I called and booked our two massages at the same time on that day. Its pretty difficult to get same day two massages at the same time. Usually you have to book it out a week or two. So we are super happy about that. We were greeted by Wonderful staff, very reasonably priced (especially considering Scottsdale) only 150$ each. Included in that price we had full access to the place all day. I’ve enjoyed Spa Lamar for many years. I’m happy that the jacuzzi gets a little hotter now. I’m not as happy with the scaled down beverage/snack station. I miss the old prices as well. Right now, it just feels like prices keep going up with less and less ‘spa amenities’, ie, cheaper robes/slippers, smaller lockers, no steam room, less beverage/snacks, etc, etc. Regardless of the reasons for these changes, it’s not the greatest feeling for the customers, especially loyal long-time customers.

A friend and I were able to get last minute (less than 24 hours in advance) massage appointments plus a walk in haircut for my friend. The staff were friendly and kind. Our massages were wonderful and the hairstylist was fabulous. I can’t say enough good things.
