Mary Word, NP at Honor Health provides total hip, knee, and shoulder care, as well as revision total joint and orthopedic oncology. She and her team, including Dr. Cummings, use a team approach for an individualized treatment plan. Reviews describe her as knowledgeable, kind, professional, and friendly with a wonderful bedside manner. She listens, explains well in detail, addresses all concerns, and gives honest opinions. Patients report she is very helpful, supportive, gentle, and reassuring, making sure they are comfortable. Her assistant is also noted as awesome. Many highly recommend her.
The first couple of days my left knee did not hurt at all. The right knee was still very sore. Today they are both very sore and hard to walk. Please advise what I need to do. I have been using ice but doesn’t seem to help

I have really bad hip pain in both of them. After review of my images we have decided on conservative approach by doing cortisone injections with ultra sound guided needle. I was scared at first but never had any pain Mary was gentle. Her assistant Janet is so awesome at making you comfortable.
