Our 2 pitties did a 4 week board & train with Jose and they came back with new skills, and they’re way more eager to please. We now attend his Saturday classes almost every weekend for socialization and the dogs are always so excited to see him; he treats them like they’re his own. Jose has created an awesome dog community in Scottsdale and he is a great trainer & friend to both the dogs and their owners. We would recommend him to anyone that asked.
I had gotten a puppy and was so worried that my older dog was being aggressive towards the puppy. I had no idea what to do and was beginning to wonder if I could keep the puppy. JD got me in as soon as he could. My dogs and I met with JD and he was able to assess the behaviors and explain what I was seeing. He gave me so much valuable information in that one hour and within a few days of putting into practice some of his suggestions things have really turned around and I’m happy to say the dogs are learning how to play and I feel so much more confident in how to work with my them and understand their behaviors. Jose is like a dog whisperer. I contacted him and Monique asking for help because I wanted a professional opinion on my dogs' behavior and to learn how to train them properly. I left after one hour with Jose, not only feeling relieved, but I also learned a couple of simple training techniques while I was there. That makes a huge difference. I would recommend JD’s Powerhouse to anybody.
