I had the opportunity to work with Derek to remove a bee problem that I had. I thought the bees had created a hive in a planter by my pool and those bees were impacting our ability to use the pool. I had called multiple bee removal companies, but my primary concern was to relocate the bees rather than destroy them. The other companies gave two options, but suggested I destroy the hive. Derek was very patient with me, explained to me how to tell the difference between exterminators and relocation specialists. Derek gave me multiple options with differing, reasonable prices. I'm so grateful that Derek was able to eradicate the problem with a huge beehive. Aside from being fascinating to watch, I was pleased with how quickly he was able to respond, and even more impressed that when we needed him to come back out for a small batch of beers that came back, not only did he eradicate those, he also prepped the area with kilt And insulation so that the bees wouldn't come back. Thank you Derek for a job well done, for being responsive, and for being compassionate during a stressful time.
Derek, the owner, spent a long time with me on the phone explaining the bees habits and how the removal process would work. I decided to spend the money for his services because I love gardening and respect our Arizona creatures. In other words I thought it best to put my money where my beliefs are. Jon, the bee keeper, arrived in a most timely fashion, and I cannot praise him highly enough. My neighbor and I watched the whole fascinating process and Jon was great about answering our questions. Our queen bee and the worker bees left to live happily in Gilbert. Bees are friends of our earth. We need them to pollinate our food plants and support every aspect of the ecosystem....read full review
