About Esporta Fitness
Esporta Fitness is a premium 24-hour fitness club offering a variety of amenities. It features state-of-the-art strength equipment, cardio machines, free weights, and a modern functional training area. The gym also boasts a sauna and a pool. Reviewers highlight the abundance of benches for chest routines and a good selection of dumbbells. They also note a large selection of machines for various muscle groups. While some reviewers appreciate the gym's wide range of equipment and designated workout areas, others mention that squat racks and deadlift platforms can be limited. The gym is considered a good value for the price, with a clean environment and friendly staff. Despite its closure in March 2024, members have been given access to the LA Fitness at Higley/202 as a replacement.
Decent gym, a little too spread out for my routine but they have just about anything you need. The problem lies with the squat rack/deadlift platforms. There just aren't enough available most of the time. On the bright side, there are plenty of benches for chest routines and a good selection of dumbbells in the main lift area and team area along with a huge selection of machines for every muscle group. The sauna and pool are a nice added benefit also. Worth a look if you are looking to find a gym for yourself.
This location is closing effective March 12, 2024. Effective immediately members were given access to the LA Fitness at Higley/202 as a replacement. Prior to announcement of the closure, you couldn't access the LA Fitness if you only had an ESPORTA membership. Guess the EOS gyms are giving them a run for the money. I may go over to the Power/Germann EOS 24hr location eventually, when I tire of the much smaller, stuffier 202 LA Fitness. Definitely not a 1:1 trade.
Aging is a fact of life. Looking your age is not. You're never too old to become younger so come kick weights around here. This location is one of my go tos when in town. Always clean, staff is friendly and plenty of parking - maybe because of triple digits. Love the layout and designated areas for kettle ball workouts, TRX bands, free weights, and cardio. I can always get on a treadmill machine without a problem. The free weights area can get busy but never unmanageable. Big fan of the variety of ab machines to utilize. Overall equipment is maintained. Haven't had chance to check out classes or the sauna. The women's locker room is well kept and spacious. While there are other gyms in the area, and I have had memberships there, honestly for the price, it is worth it if you are looking for cost friendly workout spot. Good cross section of members working out as well. A last minute workout is better than no workout.
