Toni&Guy Hairdressing Salon

Just left my hair appointment in tears. I really tried my hardest to give Toni&Guy chance after chance. I'm done. And now I'm stuck WITHOUT a stylist I can trust and with my hair looking horrible and grown out. This was not a one off experience. It was 5 or 6 consistent times of being lied to about what was being put and done to my hair. I used lower level stylists, higher level stylists, and even their "pro teacher." I did everything right as a customer. I came in with virgin hair. I never went to another salon. I did all my alternating deep conditioning treatments (protein and moisturizing) I used my clarifying shampoo sparingly. Never more than twice a month. I haven't used heat in years. And even with all of that I was promised no bleach and a high lift color formula. Only to find out bleach was originally used the very first time I came in. Which resulted in hot roots and I was forced to come in again to try and "fix it." They couldnt so I had to come in again and was forced to bring my color down 1 or 2 shades. It was either that or bleaching the entire thing which is what i DID NOT want. Then for my retouch I went to one of their "higher level artists" she did my hair it was ruined and not lifted high enough. I was left in the same predicament as the first time!They then had to use bleach again to lift my roots high enough to match the rest of my hair. As someone who spends hundreds of dollars a year to keep their curls in the healthiest condition possible I was heartbroken to feel the condition my hair was left after this now 3rd time my hair was messed up and I was not left with what I was promised. That all leads to today. Driving 45 minutes one way to see them and waste an hour there only to be turned down and told I need to see their "pro teacher" hair colorist because they didn't feel confident enough to try and do my hair. And that they couldn't guarantee they could match my roots to the rest of my hair color. And that the cost would now sky rocket and be probably twice as much to see "their highest level colorist" and be now charged for a bleaching and coloring. Mind you I spend ATLEAST $200 every single time I come here without a cut or style. I HATE writing bad reviews but this was the most ridiculous hair experience Ive ever had. If you need anything done that's more complicated than a simple dark color or cut AVOID TONI AND GUY LIKE THE PLAGUE! RUN SOMEWHERE ELSE! Also I have all my receipts of what was done every single time I came here. Before and after pictures of every single time my hair was ruined. For anyone who wants to question if it was really that bad.
