I'm ashamed to say I have not had a professional cut for 2 years. I needed help. I wanted an inverted shag bob. My former stylist is 2 hours away and she was the only one who knew how to do it right. I called and Crystal fit me in on Mother's Day. She was great! My hair is naturally curly and I use a flat iron. I wanted the versatility of leaving it wavy or styling it. Everything turned out perfect. The salon was super clean with a very zen vibe. I love Sunsites, people are so kind here and that kindness was reflected here. Thank you, Crystal!!
On first view I discovered that this place is clean: Hooray! The hair stylists and the pedicure person were friendly and appropriate. The place is lovely...apparently Melanie has a habit of decorating for each season and holiday which is nice for a visit but would become overwhelming if I were there more often than monthly. The seating is in good condition and comfortable. The times I have been there the place is pretty quiet and not very busy...which may have been due to the time of my appointment. Over all I find their prices competitive and will continue to frequent this place. Thou the stylist I visit has left there for a less expensive place to perform her craft I still support Melanie's via my monthly pedicure and hope to soon have a facial there as well! This is a great business for our tiny town!
