Dr. Amalia Pineres has over 23 years’ experience in family medicine and is a board certified physician. After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, Dr. Pineres then attended the University of Illinois for her medical school and residency training.Fluent in both Spanish and English, Dr. Pineres enjoyed caring for the Hispanic population, and continued to do so after moving to Payson, Arizona in 2005. In Payson, Dr. Pineres remained involved in her local hospital, Payson Regional Medical Center, as Family Medicine Chairman. She also participated in the Arizona Medical Association as a director-at-large for several years and completed a mini-fellowship at the University of Arizona.
