About Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, A Gurney's Resort & Spa

Located in Paradise Valley, this resort is a paradise close to downtown Scottsdale and Phoenix. The spa experience is exceptional, with a meditation room to unwind. Luxurious Casita rooms feature recent refurbishments, and some packages include champagne and rose petals. The spa is impeccable, offering treatments like Watsu water massage. The modern bar and on-site Elements restaurant serve delicious food and drinks. The rooms are very clean, with good water pressure in the showers, exhaust fans in the bathrooms, and high-powered toilets. Guests can cast to the TV to watch what they want, adding to the comfort. The staff is very professional, friendly, and always smiling, making the experience even better. The property is well-kept and stunning, with a lovely pool and cabana. Visitors enjoy the peaceful mountain setting and the resort’s beautiful atmosphere. However, room service can improve, as some guests had to ask for soap refills and tray pickups. Overall, with amazing rooms, spectacular service, and beautiful amenities like Jade pools and the spa, guests often want to return again and again.

Everyone else can talk about how clean the rooms are (ours was spotless) and how great the resort amenities are (we enjoyed Jade, the pools, and the spa). I'm going to focus on the little things. They had smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the rooms (most places I've been don't have the carbon monoxide part). The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The bathroom has an exhaust fan and the flush is high powered. You're able to cast to the TV so you can watch what you want. Those little things made the trip that much more enjoyable.

Giving 4 stars because room service need to be better taken care of, had to look for someone to refill bathroom soap dispensers, had to go get some one to pick tray from food ordered last night.
