The day before our trip from Houston to Kanab, (Monday afternoon) I had a cracked molar pulled. By Wednesday evening in Utah, it was obvious something was wrong. I’ve never experienced pain like that. I walked into Page Dental Center in Arizona (almost 2 hours away from us) after calling several other offices with no luck. They took me immediately in, Dr Banks advised I had gotten dry socket and he had to numb and pack it with gauze in hopes that it would clot and start to heal. Then, instead of making us drive back to Page again, he told us to meet him in Kanab the next afternoon at his other office. The next day was 50% better pain wise - and Dr Banks met us at his closed office, opened it just for me, and realized my dry socket still wasn’t healing. He repacked it, renumbed it, and got an rx for pain meds to be able to make it the rest of the trip here and home. I can’t express my thanks to him and the hospitality of the people in this town. Thank you Dr Banks! You saved my family vacation and my sanity. And we took your advice and I was able to eat as Escobar’s afterwards! Awesome food! 💙
