I am writing this review to share a concerning experience during an evaluation conducted by Brenda Del Monte, CCC-SLP, for my 5-year-old son, Daxon, who is on the autism spectrum. During the session, Brenda made an inappropriate and insensitive comment regarding my son's appearance, stating she was there to evaluate a boy, not a girl—simply because he has long hair. His BCBA had to clarify that Daxon is indeed a boy.
