A lot of people don’t know what a naturopathic doctor is or how we can help. I am a fully licensed family medical practitioner in the state of Arizona. Naturopaths have to attend a four-year accredited naturopathic medical school and have a licensing board. We take two sets of boards similar to allopathic medical doctors. In addition, we are licensed to practice acupuncture, botanical medicine, homeopathic medicine, chiropractic manipulation, nutrition and diet consulting, and we are also licensed to perform minor surgery. This style of medicine is more than holistic. it is integrative medicine treating the whole person. The main goal of a naturopathic doctor is to get to the “ROOT OF THE CAUSE.”
