Lunas is a place when I moved here finally found a genuine barbershop. All three cut my hair and was never disappointed. Old school chairs and a great atmosphere, especially when Adam was there. The hot towels before the shave. The wash after the cut. The massage. Good convos as well. Took all my brothers,sons and nephews for my wedding. Non of us left disappointed. Well taken care of. The shop always well kept. The pricing is very fair for the service you get. Always tipped and always will. Adam is my barber so I followed. Lunas shop will always be recommended by the Frito guy. Lol inside joke.
Adam is fantastic. Pricing is fair and the service is great... hot towel, razor shave, and a massage. Not too shabby.The decor is blasted and dated, but truth be told, I could care less. I'd rather have the value priced service and quality instead of them remodeling and then raising prices.
You know when you see something and say. "Back in the day they did it way better"?I say that often.And most of the time I'm right.But not recently. I met Adam Banks.His card says: Barber/Tonsorial Artist To be those things you gotta be able to use a straight razor pretty good.Adam Banks is a Master of the Straight Razor.Full Stop.I feel that a full head shave is a major test of a Barbers talents, and my hair is still really thick.He shaved my head with a disposable single edge blade.The best way, in my opinion.Old-school technique with his 21st century edge.Adam is an affable, talkative fellow who makes sure everybody is greeted as they enter and is made to feel Homeboy-Style welcome.This is family atmosphere all the way.It's been almost a week.Still looks great
