A good old-fashioned haircut at a great price. No, they don't call themselves a "studio" or "stylists" or any other bougie things. They cut hair. John and his son (also John... hence the name of the shop) are welcoming and warm. My three-year-old son feels comfortable and talks their ears off while the both of us get haircuts. They take only cash, but the haircuts are only $15 each. I give them $40 for two haircuts and a tip. Other places with more trendy names charge me more than that for just my haircut. Thank you John and John. I don't even live in Mesa, but we'll be back.

First, this barbershop has been open at this location for 45 years. John & his Dad (still cuts hair there) but John, his son is the barber I have going to for 3 years now. My uncle had a barbershop back in my hometown in the 60's and this like walking back in time I to his shop, Except the customer care & haircuts are today! You can sit and solve world problems with the other customers, or hear a great story. It's a real deal Barbershop! You will seriously feel like an old friend on your first visit! I'm bringing friends 17 y/o son here next Tuesday so he can experience a haircut experience like I did when I was age. He's really looking forward... read full review

Best real men's haircut I've had in over two decades. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, which included a maybe five minute wait. Younger John cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it from only the introductory answer to his question, "How would you like your hair today?" I will definitely be going back there, and told my son in Chandler he should go there also.
