I recently had a colonoscopy procedure performed @ East Valley Endoscopy & I am very impressed with the entire office staff, the nursing staff, the Doctors, & the facility itself. Went here for routine first colonoscopy. Everyone was friendly. I had a wonderful experience from booking the appointment, and meeting with the doctor and scheduler. They gave me clear, printed instructions, and the prep was easy - Dulcolax and the Gatorade/ MiraLAX cocktail. I arrived early for my appointment and got in early. The nurse verified my info, gave clear instructions for changing and what to expect. My IV was in and I waited about 20 minutes to get rolled into the procedure room. I had a wonderful experience at East Valley Endoscopy. Since this was my first procedure, I was understandably a little nervous, but the entire staff made the experience so much easier and more comfortable than I expected.
The nurses were incredibly helpful, kind, and reassuring throughout the whole process. Dr. Umar was also fantastic! He took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and well cared for, which made a big difference.
