Not sure how I found Carl's shop, since it is not that near my house. I am glad that I did and have been going there for a number of years Almost every haircut I have gotten before going to Carl always seemed to get hairs down the back of my neck, but this doesn't happen at Carl's. Very skillful barber who has been at it for a long time. He is friendly and fun to talk to. I get such a good haircut here that I am afraid to switch to someone closer to my house. Seems like visiting an old friend who just happens to cut hair really well. Prices are good too.

I've been a customer of Carl's Barber Shop for over 20 years. At Carl's you are a friend not just a client, he knows his customers and is very respectful of them. When my Dad moved to Mesa I said here is where you get your hair cut, he did and always enjoyed talking with Carl. I've moved out to Apache Junction and still coordinate my hair cuts with errands in Mesa so that I can swing by the shop.

I just moved to Mesa and needed to find an old school Barber. I checked the Yelp! Reviews and Carl's showed up in my search and pretty much fit the bill. It's just a 2 chair shop, and Carl is the only guy there! He told me that mornings are his busy time, so afternoons are the best to get in there. (Luckily I got there at like 2) Carl is a pretty nice guy and does a decent cut for a decent price ($13 as of the time of this review) He does take debit cards, which my old barber never did (not saying that's bad) He's on an end unit, in a small strip mall and it doesn't look like parking is a big problem unless you're pulling a trailer!
