This place is truly amazing. I’ve never done any martial arts or wrestling or fighting. I took my family for an intro class and it was exactly what we’ve been looking for. Something for me, my wife, and my daughter. Very inviting! Going into a gym for the first time is always intimidating. Between the other students, the coaches, and the atmosphere that intimidation goes to zero almost immediately. This is the kind of place that makes advanced students better but also gives white belts a seriously well balanced base in fundamentals. You will not regret checking this gym out.
The best way I can describe this place is something coach Brendan said to me when I rolled with him for this first time. He could tell I was tense and said “Hey…relax, have fun, and make some mistakes.” I did each of those things. What a great place to train. I have trained in their early 6am class, the mid morning 10am class, the evening fundamentals class, and even the No Gi early 6 am class. Each class has given a very welcoming and rewarding experience. The students are helpful and the instructors are serious about Jiu Jitsu and making sure the students have a top notch experience. I could not be more happy with my decision to begin training here and hope to have my son join me soon.
