After my vet gave me an astronomical price point for neutering my dog, I researched a lot of spay/neuter clinics throughout the valley to try to find a place that had great reviews and the cheapest price. Altered Tails had awesome reviews and had the cheapest prices! Plus I was able to add on a microchip and an ecollar for cheaper prices than elsewhere as well. Drop off and pickup were extremely easy. These folks have their business down to a science. Be sure to arrive early to get your spot in the car line as they process vehicles in order. They will get your pup straight from the car and will do a vet check in addition to the services you requested. They’ll call to tell you if they find anything and offer to treat it for you if they can. They will let you know how your companion is post-op and will give you the aftercare instructions when you pick them up.
The setup is different than most veterinary places. However, it worked out well. Set appointment month out. Everything is done via email - paperwork and payment. Drop off and pick up is by drive thru. Dogs get done first and then cats. They did a wonderful job with my Gypsy cat. Next is my dog.
