First time patient here with Dr. Akers. Was referred due to difficulty with prior contact lens fittings. After reviewing the preliminary data obtained from the screening, he explained why I've encountered the challenges and showed how my age and the shape of my eyes (after Lasik in 2007) were contributing factors. Nothing wrong with the Lasik procedure, but I now understand why wearing soft lenses wasn't the best fit or option for me. I'm so glad I was referred. Thank you, Dr. Akers!
