I’ve always been happy with annual eye exams from Pearson Eyecare. They are through and compare changes from previous exams. I recently asked to get my chronically itchy eyes checked that were getting worse. Turns out the anti itch eye drops were making the problem worse. A different kind of drops that contain a lipid eye lubricant was the recommendation. I never knew eye lids have fat emitting glands that work with tears to lubricate eyes. The exam included several other steps to determine that allergies were not the cause. The doc recommended specific over the counter eye drops and a specific warm eye compress to restore the eye glands operation. Re-examination is in a month to measure the correction.
