We were on vacation in Lake Havasu City and our small dog, Daisy, unexpectedly developed a tooth abscess. Given the current veterinarian shortage in the area, we were extremely relieved that Paws and Claws Animal Care was able to get us in right away.
Dr. Wendy and the entire staff were incredibly caring and extremely thorough in examining Daisy. Everything was explained clearly and patiently, and they made sure all of our questions were fully answered. I'm new in town and of course my dog got an infection from scratching a wart. I called them but not really expecting to get in but just to get any appointment. The receptionist gave me some advice and said she'd call me if they had a cancellation. 3 hours later my dog was seen by the vet!!! Way to go. My dog had a full exam, wound cleaned, 2 meds and nails trimmed. We were out the door in an hour. I'm very happy !!!
