I highly recommend Ares Goodyear BJJ! We brought our son here to try out a class, and the moment he walked in he was so excited about it, he told me after class that this was his future. He wanted to be a black belt, and own his own academy and teach others jui jitsu. Professor Queixinho is very knowledgeable and welcoming. All the professors and coaches give a lot of detail to their teaching in a way that gets you excited to train and even compete. It didn't take long til everyone in our family decided to try jui jitsui too. It's been over 3 1/2 years now and we truly love this place.
My oldest son and I have been training at Ares Goodyear since January 2023, and we are so grateful to have such a high quality academy to learn and train at. The culture here is phenomenal. Professor Queixinho and all of the coaches are outstanding in their knowledge, ability to teach, and the way they engage with all students, regardless of skill level. The environment is also very safe for both adults and kids, and while there is risk with any combat sport, all coaches focus on ensuring students stay safe, professional, and respectful while on the mats. Excellent Jiu-jitsu academy in the West Valley, the best I could say. Their coaches are professional and recognized in the martial arts, their staff are really friendly. My son enjoys it very much, he always says that he loves jiu-jitsu, he is only 6 years old and he is very dedicated to his sport. We are happy to be part of Ares Bjj Goodyear.
