Dr. Marcantel is exceptional! She took the time to address all my needs and help me understand what my hormone panel is telling me. She then put a plan in place to help with the necessary adjustments so that I can sleep, feel less anxious, feel focused, end the night sweats, and be in control again. It made a huge difference in my quality of life.

I was diagnosed with hashimottos about 5 years ago. Since my diagnosis I was put on thyroid medication and changed my diet. I was still not feeling the best and needed help!This past year I moved to Arizona and started seeing Dr. Tina Marcantel. She is very educated on all aspects of this disease and she has cleared up any misconceptions i may have had regarding my health. Dr. Tina Marcantel is a licensed naturopathic doctor and former registered nurse with over thirty years of experience in the health care field, and her experience includes extensive treatment of thyroid and adrenal imbalances, diabetes management, women’s health, and nutritional counseling. Her background in allopathic (conventional) medicine combined with her training in naturopathic and alternative therapies helps her incorporate the best of both types of treatments in her practice. She recognizes the efficacy of many conventional treatments for problems (prescription drugs, for example) and will prescribe those therapies as needed, but her preferred treatment is a conservative and natural approach.
