Pro Puch has great set-up to meet the needs of those just getting involved in in fitness for a better way of life or the professional
At 45 yrs old, I feel better than I have in 20 yrs. I joined Pro Push in May 2018. I was ready to make a change and needed someone to help me get there. Kristina has been an incredible trainer, accountability coach and friend. As of today, I’m down 80 lbs, 12% body fat, 47 inches. Her knowledge of the body and nutrition has given me such an advantage over anyone with just a normal trainer. I am not done! She has taught me to set fitness goals and has helped me achieve them. I look forward to achieving even more goals with Pro Push. My husband and son are members too getting amazing results with Tommy Cawood.
This is going to be a bit of a lengthy review, but that’s only because I feel so strongly about the amazing things Kristina with Pro Push has given me. What started off as my intention to see a personal trainer for just one summer turned into a complete life changing experience. When I first came to Kristina I weighed 197lbs, 35.7 BMI and 40.8 Fat%. I was pre-diabetic and have hypothyroidism. Low energy, joint pain, was on anti-anxiety medication; at 25 years old, I knew I needed to make some changes to improve my health because I was headed in a direction I didn’t want to be. Just to give some insight on my personality type in case you can relate, I’ve never been one to exercise. I consider myself an introvert, I enjoy spending majority of my free time at home watching movies, reading, crafting, cooking, etc. I was a full time student and worked full time at a sit-down job. That being said, I led a pretty sedentary lifestyle. I had attempted the gym thing in the past and it never continued past a few trips. I never knew how to use any of the equipment past the treadmill or elliptical in order to meet my goals and felt to self conscious to go near the weights surrounded by people with much more experience. Starting at Pro Push, Kristina was very helpful and friendly and made it a point to ask questions about my lifestyle and what my goals were. She showed me what to do and how to do it with all the equipment and I very quickly fell in love with it. Cardio is not a sole focus, and I learned just how important weight training is for effective results. Kristina did more than provide a meal plan, she built a macro plan specific to my own needs and body type and would monitor and make adjustments if needed. She would explain how certain foods affect the body and why certain other foods should be avoided. This is something I always appreciated because I’m always looking to learn and I felt that the more I knew, the more I would actually think about what I was putting into my body. One of the most important factors that made this entire experience work so well for me is the accountability factor. I know myself enough by now to know that I have a habit of making excuses for myself, especially when I have a busy schedule, as to why “I don’t have time to go to the gym”. It’s different when you have a standing appointment with someone and someone to answer to. It also helps that I would look forward to my appointments because of the conversation. Kristina is very easy to talk to and is down to earth, positive and understanding. As of today, I’ve lost 50lbs, 27.6 BMI 31Fat%. Through my dietary changes and regular exercise I no longer require the use of anti-depressants and haven’t had to take them in over a year. My energy levels are the best they’ve ever been, I feel more confident and more capable. I even participated in a Mud Run back in October with a group of other Pro Pushers - something past-me would have never thought in a million years I would participate in and actually enjoy it! I’ll be doing again next year! I just graduated from ASU yesterday with a degree in Human Development and I’ve become so passionate about health and nutrition through my experiences here that I’m already looking into returning to school for a nutrition certification. I’m so incredibly thankful for Pro Push and for Kristina. I’ve learned so much and genuinely feel like I’ve made a huge turn in my life for the better. She’s an incredible trainer and I plan to continue to see her until I reach new goals I’ve set for myself. I highly recommend training with her, especially if you found relatability in my experience and situation. I hope my story has convinced you to set up a consultation with her, because believe me, it’s worth it! :)
