I have been coming to Desert Family Medicine for about 15 years now. I am on my 3rd care provider because my last 2 had the nerve to retire! (Seriously GOOD FOR THEM!) My one constant in the recent 8 years + has been my MA Tiffany. She is caring, professional and answers any of my portal messages in a timely manor. I don't know what Desert Family Medicine would do without her. She is a pinacol at this practice in my option. I hear horror stories from friends of mine who can't get anyone to call them back. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Wilson for years and she is great! The problem is that it’s impossible to get ahold of the office via phone or portal messages. For making appointments, getting billing issues fixed, etc. it is almost impossible to reach a human. For me it usually takes 5+ tries of calling and messages before I get a response. I would like to continue seeing Dr. Wilson but it’s almost not worth it anymore. DVFM, your patients really need to be able to get in contact with your front desk and billing and receive responses. Please make a change so that we can continue to see the doctors here!

Been coming here for years, and whoever manages the front office should be fired, because whatever changed in the past year to two years is not working. See all these reviews as they are losing patients. They do answer the phone. The shortest time was 20 minutes and the longest was 45 minutes. Also, it is listed they open at 0700 but you will get the answering service until 0800. The person assigned to the phone is extremely rude, I called in for a prescription refill and was told, maybe I shouldn't let my prescription run out. I called multiple times Thursday, Friday, and finally got through on Monday, so it took 5 days to get it filled. I wasn't out of medicine… read full review
