I like the Taylor House when my wife is at FMC for surgery. Had a little mix up on 8-11-25. I was told they had room for that night, but when I got there, they said they were all full. I got a room in town, then started thinking about the situation, and realized when I got to the Taylor House, I didn't tell them who I was. They had a room for me but I dropped the ball. The only thing I would recommend, is a quieter place for the staff to answer the phones. When I called the Wednesday before, there was a lot of background noise of a child crying, people talking etc. Other than that, it's perfect! I apologize to the staff for dropping the ball on my part last week(8/11/25)
This is the second time my hubby and I had stayed here, while I had early morning surgery then next day.
It's been a God send for us, to being able to find some place to stay, that is reasonable, close to the hospital and overall a very serene place to stay.
This place is beautiful, inside and out. The staff is so very friendly, kind & empathize greatly. I know my sister will be safe & comfortable here as she waits alone for her husband to recover. Thank you for all you provide.
