While passing through Flagstaff I sought a massage to address lingering back and hip issues that were flaring up due to travel. Finding Janus was such a stroke of luck! The massage itself was wonderful--very relaxing and effective--but other elements of the experience really highlighted what makes Janus special. She took the time to learn about my situation, as well as to educate me about how I could address it on my own. The stretches she showed me that day I still do regularly and they make a huge difference. I'm very grateful to have spent time with Janus and wish I lived in Flagstaff so I could see her regularly!

I have been getting regular massages with Janus for years and my life has surely benefited. She is an extremely nurturing person, but that doesn't mean you'll see a light touch if your muscles need deeper work! Her prices are extremely reasonable and the location has easy-to-find street parking nearby. Highly recommended.

I picked Janus because the previous reviewer said she had at least 20 years experience. It turns out that she has THIRTY-FIVE years of experience! I had some back pain for a couple of nights, so I made a 30-minute appointment. Janus spent a few minutes asking me about the pain, my life's back and injury history, etc, then put me on the table. She found two out-of-place vertebrae and quickly and expertly re-adjusted them. She then continued with a confident, strong, relaxing massage. I walked out feeling great, and I have felt fine ever since. Need a massage? Go to Janus. She's been doing it forever and has probably seen everything. You won't be sorry.
