The nurses, doctors, and other staff that work here are PRICELESS. Calm, collected, but aggressive whenever there’s a problem. Extremely kind, lovely people in a good facility.
I took off a star because the facility has an incredibly anti-family policy of not allowing visitors under the age of 5. This is asinine and absolutely insulting to families with, duh, children.
So I work in healthcare, as a traveler and I get to go and help, care for and experience the hospitals as well as towns. FMC is in a small town but it definitely doesn't stop the top level care! The people, doctors and staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and take great care of their patients. I'm happy to have an assignment here!
This review is for all in Flagstaff that don't think they need a new hospital. I have never experienced such an old building and it looks like it. This is NOT a comment about the care. The offices, waiting areas are dingy, carpet is way beyond its usable life. There is NOT parking. The garage is full. What about valet parking since parking is such a nightmare. I could go on but I feel dirty even being here.
