Unique high elevation grassland surrounded by Sky Islands. Rare native grasses and Sonoran Pronghorn antelope!
I was here to visit family (my brother works here). But I was impressed with the facility. There are cabins for the researchers/ volunteers to stay in and they are really nice. The area is beautiful, the road a little primitive, but we made it fine in a minivan.
What a wonderful project thos research center is in charge of & the scenery alone is worth the drive.
