I can't say enough good things about this place. My 11- and 12-year-old love the kids' classes put on by the black belt, Andi, who is excellent with kids. My 13-year-old, who attends the adult class with me, also loves it. The black belt instructor for the adult class, Shaq, is outstanding with his instruction and breaks down the technique so it is easily understood and what purpose it serves. What also made me admire this place is the practicality of their drills geared towards possible real-life encounters. Their schedule is flexible, with multiple days available, and it has that family love/feel to it. If you were like me, checking out several places and undecided, give this one a shot because you won't be disappointed.
hands down probably one of the best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academies in the west valley. this academy has an assortment of training opportunities from toddler programs to women's self-defense to open mat sessions. whatever you are looking for, they'll have a program to fit your needs. the instructors are very well trained and have a genuine sense of passion with their craft and martial arts. this academy represents the art in a positive and confident manner. my son is 4 years old and works with Andi, Holly and Daniel. i am very satisfied with their patience and knowledge while working with my toddler. 10/10 instructors! if you are looking for a program to keep you or your kids occupied, this is the academy to join. you'll feel healthier and happier after each session. i would recommend this place to anyone.
