Rolfs Salon appears to pride itself as being one of the best in the Valley. Well, perhaps there are many stylists that are very good there. However, I had been going to the Chandler Salon for well over 10 years. I went approximately twice a year to get a relaxer. Last year in August I went in and had this done by the same person who does the relaxers only to have my hair completely destroyed. I believe a different product had been used on me. I experienced significant hair loss and I felt like a patient who was on chemo with the way my hair was completely falling off after washing it and brushing it. My hair was damaged. I went back a few days after this had happened and I was told I'd have to talk to Spencer. Much to my dismay, Spencer, on behalf of Rolfs, took no responsibility for what had happened to my hair. Nothing was done. He tried to blame it on the person that colors my hair at a different Salon. I was not even offered a refund for the relaxer. All he did was offer me a Kerastase product. I guess he figured that would make me feel all better. One year later and I am still waiting for my hair to be 100% back to normal. I am sure it will take another year before I can feel better about my hair. I doubt very much that the Rolfs executives were even made aware of what had happened. I suppose all I want is for clients to be aware of what can happen if they choose to have a relaxer done there or anything that requires special products. I would not want someone to have the bad experience as I've had. Client beware.

I have never had a bad experience at Rolf's. It's been a long time since I've been back bc I had moved out of state, etc. I had given another salon a shot to save some money and boy what a regret. I was able to finally book an appointment at Rolf's and guess what--I am finally happy!! Amy and Leah are the perfect pair for color and cut. Having long hair it's always hard to trust someone not to cut too much off and Leah really does have a talent for cutting. I feel like she barely cut anything off but yet it's so healthy looking, I have a thing for quality scissors and she uses the best. Amy did such an amazing job with color correction and really understanding what I was wanting. I followed the recommended treatments on my hair and it does not feel brittle at all (went to brighter blonde). The color is on point. Connie at the front desk was amazing and so was the girl that washed my hair. It really is 5-Star-Service. Great team.
