Barry has been servicing my parents A/C units for 40 yrs. One of our A/C units stopped working on a Sunday night at sound 4:30 pm in late Aug a few weeks ago. My Dad suggested we call Barry-We had Old Rep Home Warranty so we called and got an out of network authorization. Barry was at our house by 6:00pm- fixed our unit and spent time educating us on the types of units that perform well in the the intense Az heat. Fortunately we had Goodman units but they were original to our home and were 20 years old. We have know we were going to have to replace them for a couple of years because they are on their last leg. Barry is very knowledgable and explained what our “split system” was and suggested we consider getting the entire system replaced before another summer. We decided to do this as COVID 19 has affected manufacturing and product availability and the intensity of heat the last couple of summers has put so much labor on the units we just felt it was a sound decision. We dumped our home warranty company because they will not replace units until failure occurs ( tired of paying premiums with little in return) and we don’t want that to happen as some people experienced this during the summer and could not get replacement units. I will update with another review when the new system is installed. Barry is kind, knowledgable and honest and doesn’t cut corners. Rare in the industry these days. UPDATE as of 10-24-20 Well our old Goodman units lasted 20 years but it was time. Big thank you to Barry and the team of Logan( his son) and Randall for the excellent service and install of our brand new A/C and Heating system. They have been servicing my parents homes for 40 years. Barry came out in late August on a Sunday night within 1.5 hrs of my initial contact and got not only our one unit that had stopped working but our other unit that was low on Freon ( that we were not aware of) for very affordable price and though conversation he educated us on the different types of units, where they were manufactured, their warranties and suggested we get ours replaced because of age- workload on units due to increasing heat index in valley annually and product availability due to COVID 19 impact. We have know we were going to have to get new units for a couple of years but I wasn’t sure who to really trust with such a big and expensive job( make no mistake A/C -Heating work is EXPENSIVE. Barry put our concerns at ease as he is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, answers any and all questions, affordable a nd has a proven track record, who does not cut corners on quality. It took 2.5 days to complete the work. We have a split system with gas heating in the attic and two new Goodman 16 Seer 2 speed units. The team is kind, was flexible with our work schedule, showed up on time, cleaned up the mess (each day) and explained what they were doing anytime we had a question. We highly recommend this company for any A/C-Heating issues you have. We are happily carrying on the tradition of having them service our system from from my parents.
