This was my first visit. On the negative side, I'm not a fan of electronic check-in, although the directions were easy to follow and the process was seamless. A little personal service goes a long way, in my opinion. Then, my wait was 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. This is unacceptable. However, once I wax called back, the tests were done quickly. Paula was friendly but efficient. The other woman who performed a test was abrupt and didn't bother to introduce herself. The wait to see Dr. Hutchings was just a few minutes. She explained the issue in easy to understand language, encouraged questions and then told me about the process for surgery.

Even though the board in the waiting room said be prepared for a 2-3 hour visit, I was in and out in 30 minutes. My intake process was smooth and efficient, my doctor (Funke) saw me promptly and all went well. I have been with Southwest Eye Center for at least 15 years and this by far was my best experience ever!!!!

Dr Berry was very knowledgeable and, most importantly, fully listened to me and responded in detail. This was for a second opinion but I'm switching to this office permanently.
