Today, March 5, 2024, around 4 pm. My brother and I visited Sun Life Family Dentistry, 1A. I could tell the two ladies, I didn't even bother to get the names of, weren't going to help us. The one to the right of us was already shaking her head negatively. The other, dark-haired receptionist actually said she would inquire about my brother being seen, but I think it was all for show. How sad that these two ladies have nothing better to do then shun a man in pain. The office business hours are posted as 8-5 pm online, but they told us they close at 4. I get it, they have their own office agenda, and we didn't get there in time. I will definitely not take my brother back there. I will pay an arm and a leg somewhere else as long as I am not treated how Sun Life Family Dentistry's two receptionists treated my brother and me.

As I am new to CG and in need of PC I chose Sun Life. Although most of the staff and cordial and helpful. I have had a hard time getting into the pt portal. Once I did I noticed a few errors in the reason for my visit. I have contacted the office several time and even wrote a message through the portal. I am still waiting for a response.

I've been sick for 3 days, with bronchitis. I tried to get seen the second day, but they told me they had no availability and scheduled me on the third day. I had to miss two and a half days of work. When all my symptoms started I had to leave work early, because I was falling asleep at work, drained, sore throat, chills and everyone was telling me to leave early. I was driving back home, and it was hard to even keep myself awake to get back home. I went in today early morning, I had no problem with any of the nurses or the receptionist. As soon as, the doctor (Dr. Deepak Nayyah) came in gave me a bad look, asked me what was going on. I just went on to tell him what all happened, and he was just in a rush to get out and didn't really care for my health. When everything was done he was rushing to walk out without even offering if I needed a doctors note for work. I've never had a problem with getting a doctors note for work, for being sick. He could've give me a doctors note for work, and he diagnosed me with bronchitis and showing all the symptoms? I've never had a bad experience with any doctors, or doctors who are not understanding or considerate of others. When I got into the building I did put a mask on, and had my mask on the entire time I was inside the building.
