I contacted Luke Oldfield for an estimate on tree-trimming. He was a bit difficult to get ahold of, but eventually showed up and gave me a reasonable estimate. He said he would aim to get the job done the middle of the following week. The next week came and went, and he didn't show up. I tried no fewer than 12 times to reach him by phone, with no answer, and routed to a VM box that was perpetually full and unable to receive new messages. i hired luke to repair leaky roof. he refused to write up estimate. only verbal. i went ahead, shame on me. 1,000 he charged. way way out of line. refused to return calls. woman on phone claims she told me things she did not. wish i had stayed firm on the cancellation of the check. agreed to fix hole in my ceiling also is why i accpeted his high bid. did not. rude, arrogant man who has no lack of communication when he wants his money. get anyone else. please. dont wind up another ripped off old woman.
