My kids, now 21 and 17, have been seeing Dr. Averitt and her team for most of their lives. Both kids have been treated for a multitude of things over the years, including asthma, allergies, pneumonia, broken bones, anxiety/depression, injuries, covid, strep, flu, and pretty much every other thing kids get into during their lives. Every encounter has been pleasant and professional. Dr. Averitt and her entire team show compassion, patience, and a wealth of knowledge. They are quick to respond kindly to texts, phone calls, and emails. Dr. Averitt has worked tirelessly recently to help us with a tricky diagnosis. She goes above and beyond at every appointment and does research for us on her own time. I couldn't be happier with the care we have been shown at Best Start Pediatrics.
My daughter has been going to Best Start for the last 4 years. It has always been a great experience from taking time to answer all our questions to making my daughter feel special. She has always enjoyed and been excited to go to the doctor and we are blessed to have found an amazing one!
Finding the right practitioner for my cubs was nerve wracking, I didn't want to make the wrong decision. We are so incredibly grateful and lucky to have gotten Megan Kumpe when we decided to give Best Start a try almost 6 years ago! Wouldn't change it for the world, we love her so much!
