We have central air in most of the house but our porch/sun space uses a P-tac unit like motel rooms use. Late in the evening last Friday, when the P-tac kicked on, it sounded like a car whose muffler dropped down on the street! We left messages on HVAC voice mails and actually spoke with several receptionists who told us they'd have somebody call--none of them did. I started looking around to replace the unit--all sellers had 8-12 week lead times. WHAT TO DO?? Then I placed a call to the Hampton Inns and Suites--who do they call when a P-tac goes wonky?
