Great tattoo artist, great guy. Cal did a tattoo for my sister and I representing our sister who had recently passed away. He was attentive to detail and understood our emotional connection to the tattoo. We were so pleased that my wife and daughter came in for their own tattoos a week later.
Cal is a true artist… he will listen to your requests , but also guide you so you don’t make a forever mistake. He was the first to spill ink on me, I have several pieces from him, all 10+ years old & they still look great. Definitely proud to wear his art… but just a great human as well!
Cal did both my sleeves in traditional Japanese style. Everywhere I go I get compliments on the art and asked who was my artist. I can't recommend Cal and his studio enough. Not only is a talented artist but a great person. Having never had a tattoo before I walked in his shop I can say I was a little intimidated. I decided to get my first tattoo at age 53. Cal put me at ease and we talked about what I wanted. With his great demeanor he got me started on my journey. Everytime I walked in it was pleasure. I not only gained a great artist but a friend as well.
