About Mercy Gastroenterology - Rogers Physician Plaza
Mercy Gastroenterology - Rogers Physician Plaza offers a range of experiences for its patients. Many reviewers appreciate the kind and caring nature of staff members, particularly highlighting the professionalism of the front desk personnel and the excellent care provided by nurses and Nurse Practitioners. Nicolle and Lauren Nueske receive specific praise for their attentiveness and dedication during procedures. Patients have reported positive experiences with doctors, noting thorough evaluations and effective treatment plans, especially for conditions like Crohn's disease. However, some reviews point out challenges with appointment scheduling, indicating that it can take a month or more to secure a visit. Concerns about management and communication within the clinic have also been mentioned, suggesting that patients should ask questions and keep track of their appointments. Despite these issues, many still recommend Mercy Gastroenterology to friends and family for its caring staff and competent medical professionals. Overall, the clinic has a mix of strengths and areas for improvement, but the commitment to patient care is evident.
My dad had a procedure recently where he signed his HIPAA forms to allow me to call on his behalf if needed. I called as we have not received a report we were told we would and they informed me I was not on his HIPAA which is wrong because he signed the forms. They need to do better with scanning in documents. He needs an interpreter and I am not with him during their business hours as we both work during those hours too. Their interpreters are no help either when trying to get access to his Mercy account.
I don’t write many negative reviews but I feel the number of negative reviews show poor management. So, I’d ask lots of questions if you make an appointment. Ask about protocol and how drs are assigned to you, what choices you have and keep a log of who you speak to when you are scheduled with dates and times (3rd star is just bc some of the drs and staff are great—just can’t do their job well with how it’s managed in my opinion)
I too have a lot of trouble getting into this clinic for an appointment. Sometimes it can take up to a month and a half to two months to get in. The best thing to do is to make a follow up appointment while you are there. That way, you know when you're going back.
That being said, the ladies behind the front desk are helpful, professional, and nice. The nurses have wonderful etiquette. The Nurse Practitioner Lauren Nueske is absolutely wonderful. She is willing to do whatever is needed in order to make a diagnosis.
I would recommend to friends and family.
