I chose to get out of the Mercy network for a while because I did not feel like a real patient and hated the quality of care I was receiving. I started seeing Dr. Flax, first due to a convenient appointment, and now because she is AWESOME. She has won me back to Mercy! She is thoughtful, thorough, and clear. I don't feel rushed or embarrassed when I have to ask her a million questions. I wish there were more doctors like Dr. FLAX!!!
My husband was a walk in appointment and they got him right in. He was miserable with dizzy spells that had been going on for a couple of weeks. The nurse practitioner that saw him was really on top of her game. She nailed the diagnosis and prescribed the appropriate therapy which provided nearly immediate relief! I can't say enough about how grateful we are!
First visit was pretty good. The staff and Dr. Preston were great. Not the typical nonsense you get when dealing with medical people. Dr. Preston was a relief to encounter, seriously. I'm very cynical of the medical community, so he's your guy if you are too.
